The vitamin B family is made up of aneurin (more commonly known as thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), pyridoxine, vitamin H or B7 (biotin), folic acid, pteroylglutamic acid, synthetic vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) to name a few. Absence of these vitamins could be detrimental to oneâ??s health because one of its main function to maintain the immune system. Once the immune system is compromised, there is no telling what illness or disease a person, especially a child, could contract.

To ensure that the body receives all the B vitamins it requires, the consumption of a balanced diet should always be ensured. B vitamins are present in eggs, proteins and dairy products. Aside from this, a person could also opt to consume vitamin supplements like a liquid b12 supplement. This liquid form would attest to a higher absorption rate and an increased proportion in the amount absorbed by the body.
