Tea Making Instruments Becoming Hard To Find
If you are new to the pleasures of drinking tea then it is possible that you think of tea only in terms of adding boiling water to a pot containing tea bags, giving it a quick stir and then pouring it out. It would be a shame if this were so as the ceremony or tea making procedure when done properly with good quality tea leaves, a good sturdy teapot, cups and saucers and the use of a tea strainer can be a real pleasure in itself.
Indeed these days tea making tools, such as tea strainers or other paraphenalia are quite difficult to come by whereas in the past they were simply the only way to make tea. In fact the most common place to find such items now is either in specialist tea shops or gift shops. The purchase of tea strainers, glass teapots, tea for one sets and other similar tea making items has indeed been relegated to occasional purchases as gifts. One can’t help thinking that this circumstance is a real shame.
